Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a technique that uses the position of your eyes to help you access, process, and overcome trauma, negative emotions, and difficult memories. It is very different from talk therapy, and affects a different part of the brain than talk therapy does. Brainspotting offers a way to resolve difficult issues without having to talk about them – it is up to the client how much to talk during a Brainspotting session.

Examples of trauma: car accidents, any type of abuse (physical, sexual or emotional), the death of a loved one, bullying, abandonment, a difficult breakup, violent incidents, anything that is deeply distressing.
